Ascending from the dead. Again.

Hello Folks

D on da 'board. Long time no see, hum? It has its reasons.

First of all, this Blog has been forgotten by me and Loyow, and so it vanished in the Nowhere of Time and Space. Now that my PC finally got its new Power Supply and thus works again (after HALF A YEAR!), i can bring this Blog back to the World of Livings, like Ken Marinaris did with Dingo Egret.

Talkin' about Dingo, me still didn't respond to Loyow's high-staked provocation of a Highend-PC. Well Loy, while you're donating kidneys and thus payin' nuts to buy yourself new Parts for your Ultra-Super-Duper-Uber-PC, I'll continue to stick with my consoles. And there's more - now I've discovered the advantages of borrowing them from friends. Like the Playstation 2 I've borrowed from FRASER (Big Thanks Dude!) to play Zone of the Enders.

And holy crap, sometimes I ask myself why I bought a (now not anymore so) ultra-expensive Xbox 360, while my real favourite games last for the old, but prideful Sony gaming machine. Man, Z.O.E.: 2nd Runner is in fact the first game for me to put it at the same personal preference level as Ninja Gaiden. I mean:

  • These graphics
  • These smooth controls
  • This fast-paced gameplay
  • This mecha design *MOAR*
  • This ultra-cheesy storyline

Godlike. Good work Hideo Kojima, now you've got a fan more.

Well, but we didn't spent all the time only playing around on one Videogame, so what else noticed/did Uncle D this entirely Time?

  • Played videogames
  • Played videogames
  • Played videogames
  • Collected a total amount of CHF 1500.- of debts (200.- payed 'till now)
  • Played videogames
  • Listened to interesting Japanese/English music
  • Played even more videogames
  • Went to a birthday party and played videogames there
  • Came too late to work several times but still managed not getting kicked by da Chef
  • Read The Adventures Of Dr. McNinja
  • Collected over 500 posts @ Mangaforum.org
  • And....ehm....yea: played videogames.
If I forgot something, be sure I'll update it as soon as possible.

And Loy, you fail @ boasting with yer PC. I know you bought yourself a Playstation 3. And don't try to neglect it, I was the first one you told 'bout. :)

Well then folks, thanks for reading. Wish yer a good night.

Peace

D

Damn Traitor + New Machine

If you boast with your new console, "D", I can do that with my new computer too.
I bought one a week ago, just for fun.
800 Swiss Francs poorer and a hell of a machine richer, I went home to assemble those components.
Damn, if only those freaking slots and connections weren't that confusing. So, I think because I connected one little pin to a wrong connection, it blew up one of my RAM-Slots when I pressed the "Reset"-Button accidentally. So I took that damn thing apart again and ran as fast as "D" in that little movie below to the store where I bought it.
But that damn motherfucking store had already closed. I was 7 minutes too late.
Man, was I pissed of...
So now, I'm living my goddamned life without a computer for 5 days now.
But as soon as I have it back, it will rule "D's" ass with its great graphic and power of some ass-raping hardware.
Then I will be able to do shit which the XBox 360 can't do.

Take that, "D".

PS: Yeah, I know that I'm not in the possition to laugh right now, but soon I will be.

Hail to the NextGen-Consoles!!

Yeah, now this sounds weird, if you've read the previous post. Let me explain it like this: I DID shared the meaning of my friend about next-gen consoles. I had my Dreamcast, my Xbox and my N64, and that was far enough.

I thought.

Until I bought a Xbox 360 last weekend.

Dude, what should I say...

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELL THE GRAFX REALLY KICK BUTTS!

I swear, they're not just cool, they're REALLY good. And you don't even gotta have a HDTV to experience the power of a 360. Example?

Okay, first of all, my Gaming Equipment looks like this:

- Ordinary 60Hz-capable PAL-Television (576i, 60Hz)
- Stereo sound, as standard as it gets, without any spectacular bass machine or whatever
- Super-normal cinch signal cable (yellow, white, red with that Adapter for SCART)
- Xbox 360 Limited Halo 3 Edition, with an all-new 65nm-processor and HDMI interface

Not very spectacular, eh?

Then I've downloaded the Ace Combat 6 Demo from Xbox Live. And hey, man, cmon: As I watched the opening sequence, I only realized that the graphics were realtime as the action took place and steered the aircraft for myself. The gameplay look was EXACTLY the same as in the film sequences. This scares me, and trust me, I never wanna see this game in its full brilliance on a HDTV or even on the more powerful PS3, elseway I won't play the game anymore due to such a realism i get elevator fear xD

Little Comparison?

Guess what's the real thing :)

Say:

I MY !! (Yes it's me running xD )

Peace

D

P.S.: Oh, and I forgot: the gameplay for this game is excellent. And don't say I only look for the graphics, the first game I've ever played as I unpacked my all-new console console was?

PACMAN!! YES, THE ORIGINAL 80's ARCADE PACMAN!

See? So shut your mouth, I love gameplay, and I also love Nintendo :D

Fuck those Next-Gen Consoles

The other day, I thought about buying a new console.
PS3, Xbox360 or a Wii? That was the Question. I thought, only the price would matter... 900 Swiss Francs for a PS3 is not nothing.
But I was mistaken.
The Xbox360 quite has some good games and stuff, but without a HD-TV they look like shit.
The PS3 games too.
So why do I have to buy a new TV to play those games with graphic that doesn't cause eye-cancer?
No, no, wait! Right, I could plug it in at my PC-Screen. But for that, I'd have to buy a extra-cable. Why? Why isn't that inclusive? Do they want my money THAT bad?
OR I have to buy a new HD-TV. Together with the Xbox360 or PS3 it would tear up my purse.
With that money, I could buy a super-high-end-gamer-pc and could play those games in even better graphic. And I could surf the Web. And play music. And movies. And much more.
I hear you say "But with the next-gen consoles you can do that too!!!" Who cares!
If you have a HD-TV, yes. Otherwise play your games at the PC.

Only the Wii has already the shitty graphics with it, so it doesn't matter if I play it with a CRT-Screen. But it really has a revolutionary control / gameplay. Only the games aren't that great.

What Metalheads could call a good Feeling

Hey folks

Recently I was talking with a friend of mine through the Windows Live Messenger (Yea, I'm a Microsoft-Fan, 'cuz that I write the full name of the App :D ) And yea, he didn't got tired to send me Images all the time, and, yea, well, gotta say, sum of these things are not that bad. FOR EXÄMPLEUR:

I think this Belt is preatty sweet. Say, if you're an Computer Engineer, a real geek, working among a Bunch of so-called-"cool-gangztaz"-Hiphop-Kiddies, wearing THIS Beauty? Hmmm, I think, I don't have to explain it in Details then :D

And then, if you're coming home again, your Wife's already waiting for you, calling for a Beer. No probs:

There ya go, sweetheart. Serve yourself.

And finally, the day's over. But it's quite painful to sleep with such a beautiful Belt and Glasses, so take 'em off

Put them on your Nighttable (Watch out not to kick off your Good-Night-Drink)

And dream a wonderful Dream about the sweetest things in life....

What the fuck is wrong with young people

Today I read an article in the free newspaper "20 Minuten" about young people who sympathize with the conservative party of Switzerland, the SVP, because the people find that they are rebellious.
You think if you vote for them, you are against the state, against the law and so on?
Bullshit.
If you vote for them, you are a loser.
Because they don't give a shit about you and your "different thoughts". It's just election campaign to get attention.
If you want to be different and maybe rebellious, start to fill your empty head with some brain.
Or kill yourself.
What's the deal with beeing rebellious anyway? You still live in our society and profit of it. You like watching TV, shopping in the mall or eating some good food? Yes? Well, fuck off then.
You can't have both. Either rebellion or a comfortable life.

We want you!

To play Stranglehold. This game kicks ass.
Had a hard day at work, some kids at home who can't shut the fuck up? Your wife/husband is bitching around?
Play Stranglehold, you will feel released from all stress after playing it. Tons of furniture and other things which can be destroyed by your weapons.
It turns a lovely place like this:

Into this:

Stranglehold is as good as Max Payne, maybe better, because of the grafics and the way you can kill your enemies - in a very cool way - and watch how they fly around the room after shot by your Pump Gun.
If you don't know Stranglehold.... Shame on you. Get back in your forrest and hunt animals with a sharp stone. Or just watch this video:
Click me to watch the freakin' nut-cracking Vid.

I love this game so much, but because I'm European, I can play the Demo only so far.
Which sucks. So give me the full version you fuckers. Now.
